Something to Remove the huge blindspots from turrets at the rear end of capital ships. Fighters shouldn't be able to get as close as they do to the rear of a ship. As a person whos flying skills are limited and as one who prefers ground combat it annoys me when I jump in one of the capital ships and we loose 25% of our health from 1 fighter trailing in the engine blindspot. The fact they are so close yet a pixel out of your Xhair is just annoying.
I have yet to master the antifighter guns, but in some cases I've hit a fighter 6+ times, with a hit indicator showing and their still flying. The fact they can shoot you when they aren't even represented by a pixel is further frustrating. Any chance on a zoom as the alt fire? I realise it would mess up the blockage Runner but it would allow the other ships the excuse of having a longer range, but without the ability to constantly fire as you can with the runner. Small targets+lag+small damage = hard to kill
Also, on the off chance the anti capital ship guns hit a fighter, shouldn't it be a 1 hit kill? surely these bolts would contain enough energy to vaporise a small fighter if they are meant to penetrate the thick hulls of larger ships.
I don't think it would imbalance too much, they have a slower turn rate, long recharge and a slight delay between clicking. the only times you can hit a fighter with them really is when they are right in front of them.
