Topic: A-Wing's lasers

OK, so you can apparently hit 'X' to rotate the B-Wing fuselage around its cockpit. Would it be possible to do something similar for the A-Wing? I'm thinking that since it has pivoting laser cannons, it would be interesting to be able to hit 'X' to pivot them 180 degrees around so that they fired backwards, and then hit the button again to have them fire forward again. Would be good to have to suppress TIE fighters on your six.

Ehh... Interesting idea, but given the current state of hit detection and the dogfighting mechanics, this feature would, in my opinion, not be used enough for the effort.

I disagree.  I think that's a nifty idea actually that hasn't been explored in any Star Wars games yet (that I know of).

Come on TY, let's be honest here, if I can stop a Y-Wing in mid-flight, switch to the gunner seat, turn the gun around, and blow up a chasing TIE, then it's perfectly feasible to imagine gameplay where an A-Wing slows down to lure in a TIE and then opens up firing surprisingly...

The a-wing is pretty bad-azz right now. It really doesn't need any improvements as it's the best fighter in the game.
