I think a good fix for that "noob killer" problem would be for the next patch to label the Advanced tab First Strike Servers instead.  It's very easy to do.

That's actually a good idea, I think.

But y'all know... I just have to face that opinions are divided on this mod. I posted a review at Battlefront.no and attached a poll to the thread, asking people to give the game a rating from one to six. Three people voted 5, but an equal number of people voted 1. I trust Release 2 will up the player count, though.

I think they are expecting too much from the first release and dont see how great it can be.

well i can say im soon to recruit 10 more peopel for the mod i have been showing it off for my fellow clan members and they love it!!!! and we will soon put ouer BF2142 server on this mod too though we still need to play a feew official matches to play ones they are done we will have a server and aditional 10 people will join in on playing this awesom mod.
The funny part is alot off them dident now there whas actully a mod out for BF2142 dont know why but i have seen it in BF2142 iff you start talking about it alot off people seems surprised that its out and so, tobad but i doo tell when ever i have the chance i truely hope and think this mod will live for a long time and it can only become better with more releases. But iff enyone helps a little there and here i think this mod will be know bye alot off people, another thing is alot off people also thought there would be more Tanks walkers etc in the first release i think they will be back ones R2 or R3 is out im sure.(or hopeing, hehe)

Aye, looks like you're right, seems we're some 20,000 people short on the 1.1 Patch downloads, perhaps we need to get the word out more that a patch is now available.

That said, in game it'll tell you on most servers that it's running v1.1.
