I still wish it was no respawn hmm I just don't like the whole idea of not getting a respawn. But oh well...

Im fixing to install Xfire ... but if i had done this earlier , I wouldnt have had time.

Heres a rule : as pertains to server settings for FSL matches ...
Respawn matches can be fought in no-respawn if commanders agree.
It only means that otherwise you are free to hold a long respawn match
to weed out the bulk of a planets tickets and decide a new owner.
so... if everyones down with NR , then by all means do NR matches over and over to get to a decision.
On matches designated from the beginning to be NR , theres no options other than NR for that battle.

Suggestion (for a big spacebattle):

Spawn Fighters at the Squadleaders Position (if Possible) or near the big ships.

This would make the the long way from the Spawnpoints shorter, and makes the Squadleader more important.

Type of the fighter should be the Squadleaders Fighter, and if to many of this Fighters are Ingame the "next" type fighter will be spawned.
B-Wing -> Y Wing -> X-Wing -> A Wing

Example:
Maplimit 2 B-Wings, if booth B-Wings are in game the next fighters will be Y-Wings or X-Wings (if no Y-Wings are aviable) or at least A-Wing.
A A-Wing Squad will always bee filled up with A-Wings.

Tie-Bomber -> Tie Interceptor -> Tie Fighters

Is there any way to create something like a carrack cruiser that has a small hangar that spawns two fighters, but it fights and moves just like the other capital ships, excluding the ISD.

What I mean is that is there any way to create a capital ship that is mobile, yet have a hangar bay and weapons.

Does a Carrack even have a hangar?  Maybe a docking apparatus...

I doubt they can do it anyways.  The BF 2142 engine isn't really the best engine out there...

An actual 'Hanger bay', most likely never on a moving capitol ship...
