Topic: Reloadable Weapons

On a lot of the weapons in the game, the E-11, blaster pistols, Shotguns, etc, there can be seen a visible magazine. However there is a lack of any sort of reloading animation.  If anyone here has ever read on of the books, they would agree with me that a lot if not all of the star wars small arms are reloadable.  In fact, bit of trivia, the original E-11 in the movies was a customized 9mm Sten Submachine Gun, so the actors had to periodically reload to keep firing.  While animations may be tricky for this game, and i have no experience in that department, i believe it would greatly enhance the game play and ironically the accuracy of the game.

Re: Reloadable Weapons

definetly, makes it boring when u can spay 99 rounds without stopping, and then not even having to reload, just get ammo so u can keep firing while reloding.......if u can even call it reloading

Re: Reloadable Weapons

The decision to have no reload was made because at the time we had no animator.

Sounds like a great reason Unco smile

So in other words guys, you'll get reloading eventually.

Re: Reloadable Weapons

I like how you haven't got too much 'ammunition', though. Makes the support class more worthwhile. I don't recall ever having run out of ammo for both my main weapon and my sidearm in an FPS, ever, before FS came about and I found myself holding off Imperials trying to cross the patch of open sand at Mos Espa.
