I know nothing about it, thanksgiving do not exist at home.

It is not what I eat who is important but what I drink! The custom in my region and to make a "Norman hole", it is a break in the middle of the meal (festive meal), or we drink some calvados (it is for the digestion wink ).

for the remainder they would be rather snails of bourgogne, foie gras of the perrigor, frog thigh, plate of seafood...

Stuffing--cooked inside the turkey with sausage(not too much) and finely diced onions, spices, etc.
Sweet potatoes cut in the shape of cutlets with a carmalized glaze--grandmother makes the best.
