I've been thinking about Space Classes. Just a few credits, at the local Community College. See if I like it, before committing to a degree.  Oh, and maybe get a certificate for the MCLE (Microsoft Certified Lightsaber Engineer).

maybe a class that could slowly repair the vehicle internally, and another that could replenish ships ammo?

I wouldn't mind seeing space troopers, though I'm not sure if it would work on the engine (maybe a perpetual jet pack action or something)

that would be weird to see...jet-troopers. Maybe if we end up with something boarding-related maybe boarding parties could have jetpacks. Coooooooooooooooooooooooooool.......

The jet pack is to move around in naked space, so Space troopers could board as well as fight in space and use space as a hiding spot when out gunned on the other ship.

I've been advocating a space suit since before I even joined the FS community (originally I pushed for it to be included in the defunct Warp mod). Would be awesome to have - a suit, in vehicle form, that let you move from ship to ship to board them and special things like repair ships from the outside.
