Topic: Desktop Dumping, Please Send Help!

I can't seem to get the game past the deploy selection. I have more than met the game requirements with hardware and I am running Windows XP. The game loads, I click on Deploy, then it dumps me out the the desktop. I have downloaded and installed the latest 1.41 patch for BF2142 and the 1.1 patch for First Strike. I have also done the little thing where it says to change the lines in the STD_Archive.md5 file, but it still keeps dumping me out the the desktop. Please send help!

There is no single player unless you donload the mini mod for it, to find a multiplayer game go to the advanced tab in multiplayer and uncheck all filters besides same mod. Also Congratulations on being the 1000000000000000000000'th new guy to ask the same question without looking for the answer. wink

I think that I will. Any suggestions on getting BF2142 to play on a computer that only has a 64MB video card?
