Topic: Keep Crashing

I did search but didn't find anything defenative on a fix. When I join a server I load up until the point that the deploy button appears, but crash to desktop immidiatly. Any ideas? I saw clearing the game cache mentioned, but I don't know how to do that.

There's 2 versions of the 2142 patch on servers right now, you need to find a server with the patch you are running, which should be 1.4, that could be your problem.

I have this same problem - even in singleplayer mode.  It loads up, and when you click deploy it crashes.  Now, my bf2142 definitely works.  Let me say, however, I installed First Strike after installing 1.4 to BF2142, but never installed vs 1.25.  Could that be a problem?  Some mix up in the files from never having installed 1.25?  I'm going to try uninstalling BF2142 and FS, and reinstalling with 1.25, then FS, and then 1.4 and see what happens.

You can't play single player in FS,
I think you have to download it in other
threads to play it. I forgot which one but
you can find it somewhere.
