Topic: Jade-Moon

Hi there, i got an idea for some maps in future releases. One of them is the Jade-Moon. It's a moon of Loronar who have imperial factories on the surface. I'm sure some of you know this mission from "Star Wars: Rogue Squadron 1" .

Mission: Locate and destroy the shield generator (in one of the caves), after that destroy the imperial factory who was inside the shield "bubble" . You know, after you have destroyed the shield generator there came a lot of Tie-Bombers to destroy your ground units.

Possible vehicle selection:

Rebellion: X-Wing's , ground support: (not available at this time in the mod)

Empire: Tie-Fighters, Tie-Bombers, ground support: AT-PT's , not AT-ST

I dont know if you can realise that, its just an idea.

Of course there are much more maps from Rogue Squadron 1 i want in future FS releases, just only to list them:

Betrayal at Corellia (Homeplanet from Han Solo, Crix Madine, Wedge Antilles)
Liberation on Gerrard V (meeting with Kasan Moor, Leader from the 128. Tie-Interceptor squadron)
Imperial Factories (Balmorra)
Attack on Kile II (imperial spaceport)
Escape from Fest (AT-PT rescue mission for the rebels)

I hope you can realise them in the near future. smile

Yea that was a good map on rouge squadron. But why are shield generators never inside the shield??

Because it would make it less interesting.

In SupCom they are inside the sheild jsut the way they should be tongue

In starwars the thing on Hoth was the power generator if I'm correct, which was off somewhere else... The imperials exploited the weakness that the generator powering the shield projector was unshielded, but defended by light ground forces, in Ep1 the big animals had the generator/projectors on their backs.


But yea it makes me wonder why they put such important structures outside the sheilds... but w/e...

well in empire at war you dont have that probelm =O
