Topic: TIE Bomber

Ok...in a TIE bomber, how do you choose between Missiles or Ion Cannons?
Also, if you shoot ion cannons and lasers at a target at the same time for a while, you will crash.
(at least, i did. I don't know if this happens with missiles, cause i can never get missiles...just ions.)

F key cycles weapons, but you only have the ion cannon in the Taloraan map. In Escape from Hoth, you only have ion bombs or whatever they are. The ion cannon is the one that fires only one shot at a time and has to reload, the bombs have a 'magazine' of several shots.

Also, if you shoot ion cannons and lasers at a target at the same time for a while, you will crash.

Very interesting. We need to test this further.

In EFH, you used to be able to get a bomber that fired red missiles, now you can only get blue ion cannon shots.

in EFH the bomber uses ion missles by default (those blueish torpedoes) and if you press F once, you will have them launched in a 90° angle right below your bomber, press F again to ruturn to the first mode of fire. to look at it just press c often enough, so you can be in the chase-view and watch how it changes.

I actually think that's the X key that changes firing mode, not F.

downward firing makes it a real "bomber"  lol .   Thats gonna be great when the combined arms map comes out .
