All i can say is, jedi would ruin the feel and purpose of the mod.
Purpose of the mod: To provide an authentic Star Wars experience in the life of an everyday soldier, Not to cater to everyone who wants to play as a certain hero or some special class of trooper. Again, if you want to play as special heroes/special classes, then GO PLAY BATTLEFRONT 2. As much as a lot of people would like jedi, they are not going to be in this mod. Get over it!

Samuel, no matter what you say, what stats you provide, what proof you have of Jedi getting more players, or possibly making the game more fun... Jedi will never, be made by these developers for First Strike.

So give it a rest. Your efforts are in vain.

I want to be seen in game wearing a gold-encrusted cape .
I really think this would increase the number of people playing FS .
Also, any royalties from tips and autographs will be split evenly between me and the development team ...
Do you think the Devs will do this , because I really think it would be kool ...

Edit: You know what would be funny? If there WERE jedi, but it were like a dev ability. Someone keeps killing a dev, they press a button and become an invincible jedi and murder them lol! Would be fun to watch. lol
