Topic: Why are the so few people online...

recently? Before there were at least 30 people in a server but now there's only 5 at the max. Hopefully after the patch things will return to normal. sad

Various Reasons
-Waiting vor Patch 1.2
-Other Mods like Forgotten Hope 2 and Point of Existence 2 have been recently released, and many BF 2142 Players play also BF2.

People still think they need a patch to play on 1.4 servers still  - sigh.
I just yesterday convinced another clan member he could play FS with no client patch ... and that
all the servers were fixed already ... so the main public still thinks their game is broke.
next patch should fix the numbers problem as long as EA doesnt come out with another lame patch for 2142.

Lets hope that with the new patch and more maps the mod will be revived.  Maybe a little advertising is called for on the BF forums?  Unless its already being done.

This is such a great mod, its really a masterpiece.  Its a huge disappointment that not many people play it.  Regardless though, I played tonight on a server with 2v2 and I still had great fun.

Waiting for the patch mate...

I hop on every other day, just to see a LONG list of empty servers. I would play more if more people were online.

Ehem...sometimes you will still find 27/30 servers. It's hard to say there is 5 max unless you just get on at the completely wrong times. The numbers vary depending what time/day it is. Anyways, i think we will get more people after patch 1.2, a lot of people are just standing by waiting for it.
