Topic: Weapon Modifications
Are there any changes you think need to be made to the existing equipment? Any weapons that need to be more or less powerful, accurate, have a change in rate of fire or ammo capacity? Are there any kits you feel should be overall balanced differently?
I like what's been done overall, with only a few minor complaints. 2 Major changes that are needed IMO are:
- the mortar gun is all but useless. It's definitely one of those weapons that a dev could slip and make over-powered, but experience has taught me, and this time is no different, that when devs fear they may create a god-gun, the weapon is instead introduced into the game in an utterly nerfed and unusable state.
- the sights on the rebel AT weapon are atrocious. On Tatooine, the faded, indistinct sites blend right in with the color of the sand, making aiming a guessing game. The center of the imperial sight is far easier to see against various backgrounds.
