Re: Thanks for two great rounds

Agree with Ty and Hagen on map size. There's no reason to host 64 player maps currently, as there are never more than 30 people most on a server.

Re: Thanks for two great rounds

I know, I just don't like being restricted from using the whole of the map. Like I said, I'll consider knocking it down to 32 player maps.

Re: Thanks for two great rounds

Consider this Talon.

32 Mos Espa
64 Mos Entha
32 Taloraan
16 Escape From Hoth
64 Endor Strike Team

64 Player Mos Espa is the one which really makes problems for small numbers, because of its expansiveness and flag push design.

Entha doesn't really matter what size you put it on it's always pretty much the same little city so leave it at 64.

Taloraan, this map just has too much stuff on the 64 player version it seems, rounds take forever with small numbers 32 is a good compromise because you still get the variety.

Escape From Hoth definitely needs to be on 16 player. 64 is waayyyy too many Gallofrees it's impossible to expect two teams to actually play through the round with less than 25 people. 32 is still too many ships imo too... And heck even if you 'overpopulate' on the 16 EFH, there's still plenty of spots for people to occupy as in fighters, gunners and the like.

Endor Strike Team is the only map I would say you should leave 64 if it pleases you because the design of the map will always center in on those select control points being a tough defense for the Imperials, on 64 it jsut gives them more tools to utilize but with small numbers the rebels don't usually get overpowered too badly since Imperials often forget about their idle assets behind the frontlines and Rebels can easily pick them up themselves.

Looks good Ty, but I'd prefer EFH on 32, you never know it might just need them one day smile
