Topic: Golan II

While browsing a website for a FreeSpace 2 Star Wars mod, I ran across this:

http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Golan_II

What if there were a mission where rebels had to capture one or a few of these, maybe to dissolve a blockade or steal needed supplies?  Start off in a transport, dock with it (or crash into it, you choose), capture key areas or terminals, etc.  Just throwing an idea out there, not going to get into details.

On the site I also dicovered the Muurian Transport, maybe it could be used by rebels for one reason or another.

Re: Golan II

The Golan series of platforms (there are three models) are pretty awesome. I wouldn't mind seeing them either. A platform from the XQ (or whatever they're called) series, the ones with three landing pads, is higher on my wishlist, though.

Re: Golan II

I think the Golan III is after the GCW, I'll have to check.

Re: Golan II

the golan III were used by the new republic during the siege of couroscant by grand admiral thrawn, but that doesnt mean that there were no golan III during the time of th GCW

Re: Golan II

They made quite a few appearances in X-Wing Alliance. Which is probably a far better reference than EaW.
