Topic: FS Mod Crashes when I hit DEPLOY button!

Ok, I just downloaded FS, installed it fine, signed in fine. Everything looks cool until it finishes loading the map.

Then I hit the DEPLOY button, the game crashes!

Tried to install an update, but Kaspersky found about 5 trojans and a downloader virus.

My Specs:

Dell Inspiron 530
Pentium 4 dual-core 1.80GHz
Windows XP SP2
1GB Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM @667MHz - 2DIMMs
nVidia GeForce 8300GS 128MB

Make sure you are on hte 1.1 patch, and have the 1.41 patch of 2142 installed.


If you are trying to play singleplayer that will not work, it is not supported yet. However there is a SP minimod somewhere on these forums you can find and install.


I don't know what update you are talking about when you note the viruses and such... I assure you no real FS patch has viruses in it.

Just tried Multiplayer and it does the same thing. Any ideas?

3) *Shrug*  Sorry I can't help with your problem, I'm not very good with technical support.

(Edit) - Could you describe the crash?  Does it get stuck on a black screen, game just instantly closes, error message appears, etc.?

Make sure you arent trying to join one of our 2 testing servers

I don't think he'd be making it as far as the deploy menu then...
