Topic: SWBF3 Rumor

Hey guys, I recently heard of a rumor that a Star Wars Battlefront 3 was in the making, and it was going to use the Crysis game engine. I wasn't sure if this is true....

SWBF3 is being made by the same guys as made Timesplitters, Free Radical Design . (or thats the last I heard about it)

On Crytek 2 engine?  I doubt it.

Sounds interesting, hopefully it's true, they really need to develop the game further and perhaps rework many of SWBF2's elements. A new engine is really the only way forward if they want to make any real advancements.

SWBF2 had some really great ideas, but they botched it up. Like Zenith said, a new engine is the only way to go.

would be nice but as most commercial games it will have it's shortcomings, it has to be made with love like fs was made x)
