Topic: First Strike Crashes

I have bf2142 installed, updated to 1.4
installed FS, updated to 1.1

When i start a singeplayer game, it loads and when i press "begin" it just crashes to the desktop
and says "First Strike has stopped working..."

I have Vista.
Lastest 8600mGT drivers.

Just cleanly installed bf2142.

Could someone help me? thanks in advance.

ps: I have the same problem on my other pc.

SP is currently not supported, and due to time constraints (I guess), the UI was never updated to reflect this. You can still play FS against bots by downloading the SP mini-mod, though. There's a thread on it here on the forums somewhere.

Welcome to First Strike.

Thats one of the things that catch most people out. First Strike is currently only for online play, Inorder to play online you need to go to the "Advanced" tab on the server list, and make sure you ONLY have "Mod" selected. This will then allow you to view servers playing this mod.
