Topic: Speeder Bike

Faster more power! Turbo buttons!
louder, more zoom!!!!!
But if you guys did that,
you would have guys like me wrecking them all the time.

Also in the Tattoine map it was real foggy 'like mono color grey.
Was that my pc or a test map?

Re: Speeder Bike

Search the forums for the gray issue, it's been posted before.

The speederbikes have to be balanced, if they go too fast they will be overpowered/too hard to control.

To be fair they are a little slugish at the moment. Just look at the movie.

Re: Speeder Bike

Overpowering the speederbikes?  What?  Can't happen.  50% faster speeder bikes would be a really good addition, especially when you have to travel long distances such as in the Tatooine, Ryloth, and future Hoth maps.  This would put the 'speed' in speederbikes, thereby making the gameplay more fun.  More fun = More players!

Also, where are the speederbike rider's arms in the first-person view.  It's kind of unusual to have no hands gripping the handle bars.  You could probably put arms in the first-person view without obscuring too much of the view of the terrain.

we do have gameplay to consider

Re: Speeder Bike

I definitely think they should be faster.  The cruising speed should probably 25% more than it is, and boost should be another 25% faster.  Maybe the devs could code it so if you hold reverse and forward at the same time, it moves at a speed similar to the normal cruise speed.  Or we all use throttles such as those on a joystick.

Re: Speeder Bike

there is a boost function on the speederbikes, you have to map a button in the aircraft controls, cant recall which one atm
