Topic: Servers in Australia?

Hi,

Just getting back into 2142 after a long hiatus, and came across this wonderfully cool mod. There's only one, small, almost insignificant problem - I can't locate any FS servers!!

This is probably due to the fact that I'm in Australia (Far North Queensland). Is there anyone out there who can help me!?!?!

You need to turn all of your filters off except for same mod.

I'm currently asking my clan admins if =UnT= can get a server up, If not, I'm sure that Gamearena will be able to get something running. *fingers crossed*

yes indeed. US servers are too far for a decent ping. Blast.

I've also found that the foreign servers have a ping limiter, so I'll only get a few minutes of gameplay.

We definitely need an Australiasia server, surely there are enough Aussies, Kiwis and assorted South-East Asian star wars fans to warrant our side of the world a server.

  I was kicked from 3 servers tonight but ping limiters and the one populated server I found had only 2 other people in it and I havd a ping of over 350+ which is border line unplayable. It sucks to work on a game then not be able to play it.

How does one go about getting a server? Who do we write to? Who do we sleep with\beg\kill\cajole\bribe\bully?
