The AT-ST is awesome. Use external view regularly so people can't sneak up on you, bring infantry escort, and make sure a gunner joins you. The guns you control are actually the secondary lasers mounted on the side of the walker's head, and were probably given to the driver because he also controls the rotation of the head. The heavier and far more accurate twin laser cannons are controlled by the gunner.
If you can't get a gunner, it's actually an idea to hop into the gunner's seat when faced with enemy units. You'll be immobile, but your firepower will increase significantly.
Ok, thanks for reply. Here is another question: Why the devs didn't implement ABC (anti-base-camp) code. Today the rebels were driving to the empire mainbase stealing walkers and then camping. Also having other team vehicles seems very vBF-ish and noobish not to mention its lame as hell IMHO. It just encourages whoring and smacktarding. I think at least the ABC code should be implemented, don't you?
Because the devs want us to sit back at our main base very bored, guarding it, instead of being at the front lines fighting. And because cowardly stealing walkers is soooo much more rewarding than gallantly capturing one in combat. (That's Safe-Keeperish for "I agree fullheartedly"
).
Taking the Opposing faction's vehicles is n00bish and or lame? I wouldn't say that too loud...
It's not wise to upset a Wookie.
I must've missed the ROTJ scene where Han and Chewie strolled into the Imperial vehicle pool and stole a parked walker. Was it in the Original Edition? I only saw the Special Edition, in which they stole a walker in combat, so that'd explain it.
And stealing the enemies stuff is half the fun of any battlefield game
Parachuting from tall buildings and being able to flag hop are also part of the "fun" of the BF series games. Never saw anyone complain when they took those out.
, and really balances the 64/32 player mos espa.
Mos Espa is perfectly balanced. And if you want walkers, steal one in combat. Lots of people carelessly leave them behind or jump out of them in combat areas.
