Topic: E-woks!

You never see them in Endor, but you hear them! how about CPU e-woks with their little gliders dropping rocks around the map once in a while?

definitely not on the ground...

In the sky in the gliders probably not either.

They aren't artillery like on Ryloth where it can randomly pound the ground and be believable. If Ewoks flew around the map just dropping rocks on the floor [missing] and clipping through trees [Which if made they most likely would] would just look silly.

I have a better idea. Another Endor map. Make imperials and Ewoks, Ewoks have arrows, clubs, rock throwing, different knives etc. Since it is harder to kill for Ewoks they will have more tickets to even it out. This would be something absolutely amazing IMO. And definately doable. smile

Get yourself a secondhand copy of Star Wars Battlefront II, install it, select the Endor map and select Hunt mode. Your wish has come true! Imperial snipers vs Ewoks armed with rocks and spears.

There are two Ewok types to choose from, brown or grey, so occasionally we (old -|IC|- clan) would play 'Ewok tribe war', brown vs grey, which was a bloody good laugh.

I've already mentioned reviving this to Talon, but apparently there's nothing in the 2142 engine that would permit a playable character of such small stature. Shame, but given a choice between SWBF2 and FS, I'll take FS every time.

Yeah, that's true, the BF2142 engine just doesn't allow player models of anything other than roughly human size, this is part of the reason why Wookiees were put on hold.
