Topic: Firehawk gunner - Line of sight

Is this normal the firehawk's gunner can't aim on horizontal ? It can shoot nothing except supports with proton grenades. It's a tank who stay far from battle if you see 2 targets you're lucky. If the tank stands on a cliff you can see nothing. I can't believe this is the future.

Please give the "F2 position" gun a decent degree of inclination to be useful.

I suppose you mean vertical.

Re: Firehawk gunner - Line of sight

The firehawke had a pretty good vertical last I checked, it was the T1-B who suffered in that area.

Re: Firehawk gunner - Line of sight

I talk about the second weapon. If the firehawk isn't on a plane surface I can't shoot on horizontal (except if the front side is upper than the rear) because I can't lift the gun upper than 0 degree. The gun needs a movement angle of 20 or 30 degrees (up to 0) to compensate the tank inclination due to the ground. Like the main cannon.

Good vertical for the driver (main gun) but not for the secondary gunner position.  With all the hills & mountains on Rhen Var for example, you usually won't have many chances at a good shot unless someone is up close trying to stick a det pack on the tank.  If during a tank battle a rocketeer fellow starts firing rockets at us from up in the mountains, all I can do is watch the explosions hit our tank and hope my driver gets a chance to break away from the enemy tank and take out the trooper.

So what is your suggestion, completely go out of lore and let the tank go through the tank to aim down?

A stability system to don't be affected by the ground or let the secondary weapon move up if the main gun does it too.
