Topic: Simple tweek for endor

If we made the Lambda shuttle sitting on the elevated platform flyable instead of static , the dynamics of the fights would be more intense than they already are.
Even though the Imperials cant re-take the control points they have lost , they would be able to fly the shuttle above trees and make strategic landings to release troops that have spawned.
It would slow the rebels advance and add a new dimension to an already great map.
It would give the pilots lots of challenging experience in dropping in for quick landings too.
In BFV we could do server-side adjustments to change or add vehicles to maps without the public having to load any speacial maps or files.  I will experiment with server side adjustments to see if I can change a vehicle into a flying lambda.

I, being a pilot myself but have yet to get the pin (how do you get teamwork points in starfighters anyway?) would realy like the idea of being able to fly the lambda shuttles. I also thought how much fun it would be to be able to get in the walker and have the head be a player controled turret tongue

Back to the static lambda... I think it would be fun to fly a fully maned lambda to a cp then hover above it while the gunners rain turbolaser fire on the unsespecting rebel scum! muwahahahaha! I also would enjoy runing people over and knocking down stolen walkers by cliping them with the wing (it works with the tail fin in vinilla big_smile).

Play nice with crayons... they work for Vader.

Endor strike team is the map Im talking about. Didnt include that .

There is a walker standing next to landing pad with its side open. Its the one that Luke Skywalker is taken to Darth Vader on!

You will soon be driving those things. But if the Lambda was the flying version , it would really help that map.

I'm not so sure Luke. The Imps currently rush to defend Ewok, and if thats capped , outpost.

Imagine the havoc if some guy(or even rebel) grabs the Lambda and starts trying to fly it to Ewok.... the trees alone make it difficult but the lambda is difficult to maneuver at the best of times.

On the other hand- it would be hilarious.

Especially if you could actually pull it off. Me? There's only one thing that could make me truly happy on Endor strike team, outside of it actually working on my computer without crashing: GUNSHIPS!
