You cant make knife kill with one hit to the head and 2 to the torso, its either 1 hit kill or more. So 2 hits is the best one.

In any case, the multiple knife hits feature lends itself to such long winded "knife fights". The fact remains if I sneak up behind someone and stab them in the back of the neck, they are gonna be incapacitated, ie. not able to jump up and fill me with lasers and run off.


The arguments for a 1 stab = kill/incapacitate outweigh the arguments against. In fact, the only argument for blunt knives is people crying that they cant shoot someone running at them , from 10m+ , with a knife in hand.

No, as you get the people, like I had today, that sit around with the knife the whole game, running at people stabbing them.

This person would of got alot of points (he landed a hit about 3/5 the time), if knifes were one hit kill. The fact we were stormtroopers and wearing full body armour would of been super annoying considering we wear FULL body armour.


I don't think the arguments for and against are tipped one way. I think they are balanced, FS has had lore to think about, adding another argument against the one hit hill.

I am quite happy with the knife mechanics the way they are.

I've both been able to sneak up behind someone, and if you aim correctly you can dispatch them no problem.

I've also been rushed by a couple excellent FS players in close quarters with their stun batons making quick work of my crappy pay and spray tactics big_smile
