Topic: Are people still playing this mod?

The last time I played a Battlefield game was the old Galactic Conquest mod for bf1942. However, that mod hasn't seen a player in years. I'd really like to try this game out, however, I'll have to go out and purchase 2142 in order to so; this mod would be the only reason I purchased that game.

Are there enough people playing to have a decent size game at any hour of the day? Also, where are most of the popular servers located?

Not sure about ANY hour of the day, but any time I try theres a few people on. Most servers located in Europe or America I believe.

Highest player times are weekday and weekend evenings around 6-10pm GMT.

I've been distracted a lot recently from playing FS, but a few minutes ago I took some time to check out one of the new maps. I was disappointed that the servers were empty, but when I checked out the map, I was amazed. big_smile

I was glad to see that the shuttle was flyable, and after taking off (and swiftly crashing) I checked out the first of the rebel bases. I grabbed a freerunner (also glad to see I could steal vehicles. ^^) and sped out to the rebel caves, and freaked out when I saw how great a job the team had done on them. I look forward to devoting more time to FS rather than being lazy and forgetting all the time, I just need to pay attention to my F9 key that I now have mapped to the site.

Good to be back. I swear I almost passed out when I saw that 1.2 had come out several months before, and I had missed it entirely. >_<

EDIT: Servers are still empty. sad
