Topic: Cant join FS servers.

i get this when i try to join first strike servers

i have no mods except for first strike
the game has the latest patch
i recently reinstalled BF2142.. i have updated punkbuster.

what do i do? :S


also i have another error that stops me from starting first strike up from its desktop link (it comes up with a shader error messege) the only way i can start up first strike is from ingame.

if anyone knows how to fix this it will help too tongue

Haha I used to get that. Did you download the server files as well? If you arnt hosting any server you dont need them thats why I got it. Remove the mod and reeinstal 1.2 and the 1.25 patch only.

sigh

ok so i found out what was wrong.. as above poster said it was server...i had downloaded the server 1.2-1.25
(really need to start reading properly tongue)

downloaded the right one and it seemed to be working.. got almost in game.. and punkbuster kicked me out... sigh

downloaded punkbuster installer/uninstaller and reinstalled PB.. then updated it using the PBupdater thing.

still dont work.

i almost give up



this after spending 2 days trying to get my basic battlefield2142 account to work.. kept saying "key already in use".. even tho its a bought copy and only ive played it.

freakin stupid game >.<

Are you running the game as administrator? Punkbuster kicks you if you arnt.
