Topic: What's up with pistols?

I dunno if they're really intended or not, but why do pistols have such crazy accuracy and range?  Specially the DH-17, I love sniping with the little f**ker.  big_smile

before 1.3 i used pistol for anything beond 10 feet because  e-ll carbine was so in acurate

I guess the idea was to make them more often used than pistols in vanilla might get used, since in the films most battles involving the heroes used pistols.

That said I blow chunks with the pistols, even the squad leader one sad

I don't really like the idea of making the rifles worse than the pistols.  Don't get me wrong, I love the pistols, but the rifles aren't really as good at range as pistols.  Which should be backwards.

I make it well known I like the pistols. I don't ever need to use a sniper rifle anymore. I also love the officer class. Though to me the officer pistol seems slightly less accurate then the other pistols.

And yes its intended. And yes they own.

I dunno about you, but I get killed by, and get more kills using, rifles rather than pistols.
