I am posting here to let everyone know that Nitefall Brigade are hosting a First Strike Server. The server is located on the west coast of the United States. We invite everyone to join and have some fun on our servers.

I hope we can get a lot of people playing. There are not very many servers out there and it seems like there are quite a few people that are into this game. It would be so fun to fill the server and have some good battles.

Cool, thanks for the server. I tried to join last night but it was telling me the server was using an old version of punkbuster

Thanks a lot. Make sure you configure it right, now wink .

-Friendly Fire ON. There's a whole range of exploits players can utilize otherwise.
-All weapons and equipment unlocked. This is pretty much obligatory due to the way FS handles weapons.
-Ticket levels unchanged.

Think that's about it.

Really? Do tell!

The choice is simple, and has nowt to do with exploits:

-Turn FF On if you don't want your players to have as much fun as they could, particularly on space maps. You'll need to turn off TK Punish and disable the Autokicks for negative score and TKs if you select this option.

-Turn FF Off if you just want your players to have lots of fun. You should still turn off TK Punish and disable the Autokicks for negative score and TKs if you select this option, otherwise all the Lambda pilots will get kicked after 5 minutes!

It's your server, so you make the choice. I remain convinced that the vast majority of players just want to have fun, so I suggest you don't let the Realism Police lean on you too heavily.
