Re: Clone Wars TV Series

Finally we've gotten back to the series and what a way to start. Two episodes in price for one.

Grievous returned and its a great thing. Nineth is a very good episode and especially since Grievous cleans up the reputation he gained in my eyes during first season as the regular cartoon villain who is always beaten. Grievous has become evil now, like what all the hype before ROTS came out made him to be. If you liked Grievous in season 1, you will love him now. Very action filled and exciting episode overall. smile

I also noticed how the music resembled a lot like the OT music during this episode. You know what I mean when you hear it. wink

Tenth episode picks off right away from where the 9th episode ended. Its a bit slower episode but not any worse than the previous one. Overall its been two great episodes.

Re: Clone Wars TV Series

Aye, was certainly a good way for the series to see in 2010. Very exciting, and two interesting and quite different episodes, also liked the introduction of quite a few new craft designs, a new Republic light attack cruiser (a sort of cross between a Republic Cruiser and a Republic Venator class Star Destroyer) and a shuttle similar to Darth Sidious's in ROTS. Not to mention new characters.

Most enjoyable. Can certainly sympathise with poor old exasperated Obi-Wan at the end of the 10th episode.

General Greivous got away again!?

Re: Clone Wars TV Series

While Grievo maintained the old fashioned cartoon-villain style of getting his plans foiled but yet managing to escape narrowly to fight another day, it was still a huge improvement to his appearance in season 1.

During season 1 he really didnt put up much of a fight or show the hatred towards the Jedi. He just seemed like a baddy who always had some sort of a new trick in his sleeve which was always then beaten by the heroes, all this excluding the episode Lair of Grievous.

But now he really thirsts for Jedi blood and he participates in fights rather than letting his lackeys getting chopped up and then fleeing the scene.

Re: Clone Wars TV Series

True, he definitely seems more of a serious threat this season going off these episodes.

watching 'lightsaber lost' atm

Lovely stereotype alien- even says 'I shuddupa'.

I love a chase scene as much as the next guy, but simply grabbing someone with the force and lifting them up seems a lot more efficient.

Good episode. Nice change of pace and the OAP Jedi Master was priceless. Wait until the scene when you see how he drives a speeder. Absolute classic!
