Some good games out soon:

Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 : Out today.
Fable 2: Out Oct 21/23/24
Far Cry 2: Out Oct 21/24

Pro Evo Soccer 09 will hopefully be better than 08, but having gotten FIFA09 recently, it will take some doing to beat FIFA's latest.

I cannot wait for Fable 2, I loved the 1st one and it looks as tho the sequel is going to be even better.

Far Cry 2 is the one I am lookin forward to most. I wasnt all that much of a fan of the 1st one - got bored half way through - but the new savanna setting and all the new features and the concentration on immersion (love the fact your "minimap" is an actual map and compass - I've been wanting that in a game for ages) in FC2 have me foaming at the mouth.

I havent really played any SP games properly for a long time, but every now and then there are brilliant pieces of work that you just have to play - KOTOR, Oblivion, Fable 1 and Crysis being examples of this from the past 5-7 years. Im sure Ive missed out of some cracking games tho - Witcher looks interesting = a game I had never heard about until recently.


Any other good, eargerly awaited games out before the year is out?

No-one mention the DRM, RedMonkey will go nuts!

DUKE815: Teamwork's complicated.  I've found that ramming a Lambda with a Y-wing at full boost is most effective.

Fallout 3.... my most hoped-for and feared-for games in the last several years...

on one hand.... i've always wanted it... on the other hand... if bethesda screws it up, i'm going postal on them... with a pancor jackhammer.

I'm thinking of getting Spore. Anyone got it? and if so is it a wise buy? It looks Intriguing

PS Crysis Warhead is really good for an add on.

Dont forget COD5 and GTA IV at long last!
Bandu,the Witcher is great at lot like Oblivion but more adult orientated and the combat system is different
