Topic: Crash to desktop

Hey, just installed, no errors bla bla...
join game, get either 1 min or 5 min, then crash to desktop with appcrash report.
"Faulting application firststrike.exe, version 0.0.0.0, time stamp 0x48340bfc, faulting module firststrike.exe, version 0.0.0.0, time stamp 0x48340bfc, exception code 0xc0000005, fault offset 0x0039cdb0, process id 0x920, application start time 0x01c93d2f74795304."

2142 Vanilla runs fine, no issues ,no crash.

anyone have any ideas..


running:
amd 64x2 dual core 6400+ 3.2ghz not overclocked.
4gb ram   not overclocked
vista 64bit.
asus gforce 8800 gtx 512mb also not overclocked.

put first strike in xp compatiblilty mode and disabled it with same issue.

hmm, thats weird.

Have you tried running FS from the mods tab in vanilla 2142?
