There has been a compo going on over on the CGSociety forums for some time now, originally it was to crank out some cracking concept work along the brief of Steampunk Star Wars. Now that it has come to an end check out the final modelwork based from these concepts, some truely genius work and designs at play here, altogether familiar and yet new all at the same time. There is an AT-AT Walker design which is fantastic (check out the chains and pulleys that make the legs work), A Stormtrooper that is so detailed it makes your eyes bleed, and a Leia whose modeller threw a serious number of polys at a certain pair of her assets which shall remain nameless here.
