Topic: Community Game, Saturday 27th December

DSGaming.net will still be continuing to host the First Strike Community Games with the new patches at Saturdays 21GMT (16 EST).  Battle Recorder will be On, and as always our Ventrilo server (now an fsmod.com ventrilo server) will be open to public at the IP: 85.236.100.69  Port: 28384.

Our hopefull maplist for this week is:

Mapsizes may vary on the playercount of the map before.  Map polls will be disabled to stop constant spamming like we have in previous community games.  If you wish to get hold of an Admin about an abusive player, try hailing DS members ingame, or speak to us in ventrilo for more chance of getting through to us, as we play too, so we can't watch the chat all the time.

For those of you unaware of what our Community Games are, they have been going for a very long time, used as a time for us to get as many players as we can get together to play massive games.  We've had great fun with them since, you can get some screenies of DS's first night as official CG Hoster HER

DUKE815: Teamwork's complicated.  I've found that ramming a Lambda with a Y-wing at full boost is most effective.

For those new to the mod, Community Games are a great way to see the mod in action, the way it's meant to be played. You'll typically have greater numbers than in regular scraps, as well as more team play and the occasional treat from devs (they spawned jet packs for all players once some time ago).

I love how you guys make me get early to play this mod. Right now I'm downloading the latest version as i post this.

Unfortunately for me I'm more cannon fodder than anything else, but at least I can gaze in awe at the mod in action.

Have you tried the different solutions detailed in the various threads in the Client Support forum?
