Topic: First Strike for Unfortunate Mac Owner

I got Battlefield 2142 as a gift for with my Mac. I hardly ever play it, but when I saw this mod on Moddb, I said to myself, "Oh ho ho, gotta get it!" But then I looked at all the downloads and saw that none said Mac next to them. This made me very sad. sad I was wondering if there was any way for me to play this mod short of buying BF2142 for PC, which I don't want to do.

We used to have a mac version for patch 1.25 I believe however a fellow mac user said it didn't work.  My advice to you is to boot camp the mac and get the windows version that's only about $10-$20

Windows installers don't work on macs.  Someone just needs to pack up the mod in a zip or a rar and upload it somewhere.

I could easially pack up the mod and upload it, however as Yult pointed out, the launcher IS required to play First Strike.  Without it, players will get a modified content error.  However you are not the first person to request this installer so it is fairly likely that macs will eventaually be supported by us.
