Topic: my server is running correctly?

Hi,i´m Aejol_will... from spanish klan.. sorry for my bad english.. i´m new here, and i have a first strike server... called"aejol en first strike"... i have a problem but i dont know what is? i can play in all servers but i cant play in my server... i dont know if is my problem o server problem... anybody can help me?.... thank´s !!!!

I found it!

I get a modified content error when i try join it though- it will not let me deploy.

I am guessing that multiplay.co.uk controls your server and gives you limited access to it?

You will need to make sure your First Strike is updated to the newest build.
There is an automatic updater that is available on the Download section.

There are instructions contained in the zip, in a text file.
If you have already tried this, say so, and i'll let you know the 'HARD' way to do it (that I have to do)

Multiplay doesn't have the latest update.  I Do belive you were the person on their support IRC channel two or three days ago, yes?

Multiplay are working on setting up the autoupdater to work with their servers, but not fast enough if you ask me. I recomend submitting a ticket through their Support system, as well as complaining on their Live support that you bought this server asking about First Strike, and they didn't tell you it was out of date.

Be forceful, asking for a refund and threaten to cancel your server. I like the multiplay guys, but you have to be aggresive for them to actually work, sometimes.

thanks guys!!! i send to multiplay the last update!! i hope they update... because a lot of spanish people want to play firts strike..... i will keep you informed...

MultiPlay already have the auto-updater, they just don't use it.

As I said, make a complaint on how you asked about buying the server specifically for this mod, which they KNEW was out of date, and they didn't tell you. Threaten to cancel and ask for a refund, unless they update the server like you were led to assume.
