Topic: bf 2142 problem

i get the message "this server allows players with unmodified content to join. revert your version of bf 2142 to the current official version to join" when i want to play regular battlefield 2142, how do i fix, and yes im fully updated to 1.5 in 2142

Not exactly sure what might be causing this, but you can try opening up your launcher, then closing it without launching FirstStrike, then see if you can launch up vanilla 2142 and join a server.

I got this problem when I was impatient and double clicked the launcher icon several times tongue, this was before 1008 though.
This leaves a copy of the launcher running on the background when FS starts.

Perhaps we should disable the ability to run multiple instances of the launcher? I can't think of any use for that.
