Topic: Lightsabers

One thing that is missing, is lightsabers.
Could be made on knife mode maybe, and used with a wii controller as input device.

Dual handed, Double bladed, or single, with a variable of colors and sith lords, maybe Darth Vader himself too smile

We had them for the April fools joke. But light sabers are not planned to be in First Strike as they were not carried by regular soldiers which is what FS is about.

Also the BF 2142 Engine is for big battles with 64 players.
For a real lightsaber duel an other engine with less players (so each player has more bandwith) should be used.
But AFIAK there is no engine what is realy suited for fast swordfights with parrys, lungs and fients.
