Topic: AT-PT implemented, but...

Hi there, I am very excited about that the AT-PT will be implemented in a future release of FS but I have one possible "error" in your AT-PT model.

As you know, the "original" AT-PT's in Star Wars: Rogue Squadron 1 have green laser bolts, not red. I hope you all understand my criticism and change the laser bolts to green before you release a new version of FS.

Hey there, Lantis, welcome aboard.

I'm not a dev, but people here generally view the RS series as a very inaccurate series, so they don't pay any heed to it wink .

But I think that the green lasers would still be more appropriate.

Hard to say, really. The AT-ST has red lasers, as do AT-ATs.

And neither do any of the TIE variants. But laser colors is a hot topic. While a very general rule seems to be that Rebels use red and Imperials use green, there are plenty of discrepancies on both sides. Like Safe mentioned AT-ST and -AT walkers have red lasers. And the wookiee bowcaster shoots green.

The RS series does score fairly low on the canon-meter around here (and in general), but all footage of our AT-PT has been work in progress, which means that nothing as of yet is set in stone. We will take your suggestion into consideration.

I'll research the PT when I get home from work... see if there's any references to the laser color. Video games are usually bad references. Look at Star Wars Galaxies with all their Jedi. tongue Those games are rarely accurate.

I'll see if I can find something for you guys (I have just about every possible Star Wars reference book here at home).
