Topic: Rebel Troopers Uniform and Visors

Imperials get all the new looks and stuff, I think it's the Rebels turn now. These Rebel Troopers are the coolest I've seen so far:

I was wondering if you would consider making them in the future. It might bring a bit more players if you posted it in the news. I think that we should have 1-2 kits with the visor and 2-3 kits without the visor. And a female model (most soldiers are guys and it makes them sad big_smile).


P.S. It might be early New Republic Soldiers, but this mod has not always been lore accurate. And I absolutely wish they would be in the mod. They are just awesome.

I remember seeing that armor waaay back in Star Wars Galaxies. Can't quite recall what it was called, though. hmm

The starwars universe is quite recursive in its uniforms. KOTR and TOR show unforms and armour styles that look very similar to OT stuff. This is to be expected as with tens of thousands of years of galactic history, the Alliance wants to dress like the republic soldiery while the Sith lords mould an empire reminicent of the past sith glories.

That and technology peaked out eons ago, so how your forces are armed/armoured is largely a function of what you are willing to spend.

My point being that the uniform style is likely older than sand. Including it in the mod wouldn't be a lore heresy, particularly as the mod treads ground the Movies didnt touch.

Why on earth did no one comment at all? (That's unfair to those who did, but I still have to say it). This is what happens to most posts; people don't comment and there is never a definitive answer (even a "maybe in the future" is good). Discussions help!

That was a long winded Yes, explaining why its wouldn't be inaccurate to put them in the mod that is centered in the OT
