Re: 1.5 thoughts

An excellent combination is a guy who can reliably kill people and a guy who can reliably revive him.
I call this combination 'butcher and Gurd'.
All the reviver(Gurd) has to do is kill the guy who killed his buddy and then revive him, allowing the butcher to continue butchering the enemy.

Various themes on this strategy are 'ninja and Gurd'
(which involves a stealthy squadleader and his trusty medic getting behind the enemy with a spawnstick) and 'Gurd and Gurd' (which turns the game into gears of war.)

actually the whole BI story startet with a squad member complaining about some BI player destroying his tank with a lambda shuttle by crashing into him lol

I don't agree with that dirty tactic at all, but sometimes some BI members who shall not be named enjoy doing crazy things like that. I can understand people who get mad at that.

of course my selective perception began and saw one glitching around from the top level to the ground, making he whole level-design obsolete, i think it was on the sensor station map.

I believe that was me, but I was not glitching by any means. On the station, there is a very tall tower that is out of the way, from which you can see the top of the main base. I was simply shooting the guys who were on top. I was hard to believe they kept coming back without knowing where I was.

As for the rest of your post, there *are* ways out of quite a lot of pits in the Tattooine maps, it can just take a while to find them.  I thought that all these new statics they added for Espa included ways out of these holes too, but I could be wrong.

I had actually added crates and whatnot to the "traps" on Espa, but removed them after I was advised they would lead to dirty spawn beacon tactics (jump into a backyard that's hard to reach, drop spawn beacon, jump out of backyard with crates, assault CP). It seemed like a good idea at the time, but looking back at it, I suppose a few of them should have remained, at least at the "hot spots" like the space next to the two-storey house at the palace ruins.

Maybe they'll be put back in later.

Edit: Parmel is a Team Death Match map. Some people like that, some people don't, it all comes down to personal taste. If you dislike it, consider that it's the only map in all of FS with this gamemode.

And as Twigs says, take a closer look at the station with a fighter, or, even better, with Battlerecorder wink .
