Topic: Game wont start

I have installed bf2142 , patched to 1.50 and installed this mod , i click the shortcut icon on the desktop and nothing happens , i see the process in task manager but nothing seems to load , update also says error 404 , can anyone help?

disable all the task bar/back ground programs, including the anti-virus software.   If using Vista/Win7 make sure to run in compatibility mode and give the game admin rights.

Running as an administrator usually fixes it.

running as admin hasnt fixed it...

Did you install both 2142 and firststrike as admin? If running win7 or vista follow this guide:
