Here are some new ideas for new maps for First Strike:

1. Battle inside a Tantive IV

2. Battle in Bespin

They're actually very old ideas and some work has been done towards them. Unfortunatly at the moment we're down on man power and are working our socks off getting hoth finished. We need to keep focused on this and get the most anticipated map out there.

It's okay, I'm just giving ideas, you don't have to make them NOW. Just maybe in the future possibly, I'm really happy you guys are working on Hoth!

Bespin... Despite Star Wars Battlefront's many flaws, I do think they managed to make a very good Cloud City map. As an infantry only, fairly close quarters map, it worked out very well.

Now imagine what it would be like if the First Strike devs made something like that. cool

Aye, that was my fave Star Wars Battlefront map actually, artistically it had some terrible features, but the gameplay was near perfect. My clan mates and I had many a good scrap defending along the area we christened the "Corridor of Death".

Depending how Hoth goes these maps may be worked on in the future, but one thing at a time.

Yeah, that was the best part of the map. Usually neither side would win. Just too many rockets flying everywhere. big_smile
I don't know why they chose to import Mos Eisley over Cloud City for SWBF2, because even though both were good maps, Cloud City was superior in my opinion.

I used to win that map on ps2 singleplayer, but pushing across the bridge never worked.
Vader would be waiting on the other side or striding through the tunnel, cutting down all my d00ds.
By the time I maneuvered him close to an edge and grenaded him off, the map was over.
