They will include modding, they did so back then when modding was less known that today - maybe it will have less possbilities than BF2 for example, but it will be there... their "history" dictates so, so it will be a big surprise to see the opposite.

True, but from the logistics and all the third party software involved in the Frostbite Engine it is looking more and more unlikely. Here's to hoping that I'm wrong though.

Read my previous posts about this subject, as to why modding most likely won't be possible.   I'll take this opportunity to say that they said modding would be available for BC2, but changed their tune closer to release.

Well if modding will be possible on BF3 then that would be awsome to see a FS mod for it.

The latest copy of Gamer Informer, in an article on BF3, states that there will not be any mod tools at release.

I'm willing to bet, as many others are, that there will not be any mod tools for BF3. They're far more concerned about topping COD on the consoles and also releasing future DLC.
