Well, the R2 never repair vehicules ! He just give ammo, like a generator ! And, R2 units are made to repair, no ?

He's not supposed to repair vehicles. This is a mistake (now fixed) in the Wiki, and, I believe, in the loading screen tips and some other places.
R2 and his Imperial counterpart only rearms.

quick R2 tip-

R2's will rearm your craft. When using an AT-ST , you have 3 grenades. Once fired, they take forever to come back.... unless:
Fire off 2 of them and wait a sec for the R2 to swiftly rearm you back up to 3 again.

You can chain fire grenades this way.

Those droids are amazing.

Seriously best thing to do is walk up a long hill and then shoot it with a EMP Gun, The droid flys through the air flipping and rolling.

Yeah the R2 was originally designed to repair as its supposed to, but a certain person changed it on our team cause they thought it was not being used. I shall have my revenge!!!!!!!!!!!
