Topic: will FirstStrike work on the 1.40 update of 2142?

hi i just downloaded this mod and cant seem to get it work, its probably because i running the 1.40 update of bf2124. will there be a patch that will make it work for the 1.40?

btw this mod looks f&$*ing sweet!
im helping to make a ww2 mod for crysis at the moment
although i do not have crysis but im pretty good at designing
and making 3d models.

yes, the mod works with version 1.4 of 2142. if you get an error message while installing, just click Ignore and the install should continue.

i did do that and installed the 1.01 patch but every time i click "Deploy" it crashes. hmmmm....
i will try and tweak some setting maybe? or maybe its vista?

Is this a crash on joining a server or attempting to play SP? Sounds like a rather obvious question to ask, but some people don't realise vanilla FS is MP only.

As Zenith said, make sure that you join a MP game and not SP.
