Topic: Glitching and Exploiting

We are getting numerous reports about people using glitches and exploits in matches.  This is just fair warning to you, if I get a report, with proper evidence (video, etc.), your stats will be reset.  If this is not the first occasion that this occurs, you will also be added to our global ban list completly eliminating you from any ranking.  Your IP will also be provided to all server admins with a request for a permanent ban.

We appreciate people finding bugs so we can fix them, but they should never be used in a public match where people are actually trying to play and enjoy the game.

Also, if you find a bug that you think could provide a major advantage in a match, please don't post it in the bug report forum, but rather PM it to myself, Woodrow, or Blitz.

Oddb@ll was telling me about a certain person who shall remain nameless shooting people from within the rock at speeder wreck on Endor last night. If it had been a -=B.A.D=- Server he'd be banned. He said it ruined his game and that he would refuse to play on the same server as "this person" in future, its annoyed him that much. You know who you are!, i know who you are!. I suggest you don't do it again

To clarify, Imp, does this include things like taking your speeder bike to the roof of the Imperial Outpost on Endor? Does climbing buildings using the AT-ST count?

I didnt meen it to cause offense to people. I simply did that rock thing by accident the first time and found it quite amusing, I admit that i did push and exploit the bug but it wasnt for some sort of stat gaining, i simply play FS for the entertainment. I obviously wouldnt do that sort of thing in a ranked/Community game. There wasnt many people on the server last night so just thought id glitch around for abit. Obviously since this is causing people to get annoyed and ruining their game play i wont do it again.

Things that would count would be using known or unknown bugs or glitches to gain a significant advantage over the opposing team.  For example, taking an ATST on top of a building, while amusing, will not really be detrimental to gameplay.  However, exploiting a bad collision mesh by hiding inside a static object to kill enemies without their knowledge would be considered an exploit.
