Re: Squad Leader Success points

Good question. The way I understand it, you need to defib someone, for example, 15 times and make 15 teamwork points in addition to that to get the badge. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

That's correct.  So technically, you need 30 Teamwork points in the round as defibing or re-supplying with give you 15, but those 15 don't count towards the pin.

Re: Squad Leader Success points

imo the statstracking destoys some teamwork, especially those pins.
i know this might not be the right topic for this but with those pins, u are fixated on getting a certain number of points, which then leads to less normal gameplay. even when i'm saying this i'm going to get those pins too because i have the urge to get that. and that makes me a less usefull player on the battlefield when some players really want to play a decent and fun match with lots of competition. (i'm on of those players)
but that's just my opinion x)

Well, introducing stats is bound to attract those that love to play for points. But that doesnt make it a bad thing, since the release of the stats tracking files for servers, there is a lot more activity.

I dont think people will be fixated on a pin to the detriment of the game, to get those points you need to work together and co-ordinate, which helps in the game already. You dont HAVE to play as a team, but if you do you have better success.

Re: Squad Leader Success points

I don't really like the decision, as stats tend to deter from game play no matter how much finesse you invest in their development, but if it leads to more players (which it already may have done), then I feel it's a somewhat worthy trade-off. Having said that, if I as a Squad Leader tells someone to go a certain class or get a certain weapon and I get 'wtf stfu noob i need teh sniper badge lol' as a response that person gets kicked out of my squad ASAP.

My two credits.

I actually agree with him. If someone doesnt want to go the class needed, then they shouldnt be in the squad. Beware, such actions and comments get you banned from servers though wink
