Topic: I cant even get a valid copy of the mod so i can install it.

I have Windows XP and battlefield 2142 version 1.40 the 1.1 full client installer offered through dsgaming.net only gives you a quarter to half of the whole file. and the other one, Gamuspdates.org is spelled wrong and doesnt do anything. I really want this mod, I had galactic conquest on 1942 and loved it. i love star wars. ill hunt for the single player thing to try it out. but i would really like to get this installed properly on my computer.

Where you got it from should work fine. If you are having trouble with that one try here...

I just tested the dsgaming.net link to find it functions properly.  Please attempt to download it again, it's quite likely your download did not complete.  When in doubt, check the md5s.

im sure i will get one of them to work, but i cant play unless there is a server is that correct?

i had the same exact problem. the first link would start then about half way sudden finish out then when i clicked on it tit said it was broken. now the 2nd one works but up until sun night when i showed a friend it wouldn't do anything except say page not found. good to know it's working now. i had to get the ver. 1 from moddb and then the 1.0 to 1.1 update. anyway at least the link works now.
